Here at Lighthouse Bible Church we hope to honor God with our service especially in the area of ministering and teaching the children God’s Word. We are always excited to teach and serve alongside faithful men and women that love God and His children.
The Children's Ministry is comprised of three Sunday school classes divided by age groups:
- Fireflies (nursery, 0-24 months)
- Sparklers (preschool, 3-5 years)
- Sonlight (elementary, K-5)
Nursery care (Fireflies) is available for both the Sunday Service and the Sunday School Hour so that parents can worship without worrying about their child. Pagers are provided so that you can be summoned in case of trouble.
Preschoolers (Sparklers) meet during the Service (dismissed right before the sermon) and also during the Sunday School Hour.
Elementary students (Sonlight) meet during the Sunday School hour only. We feel that they are old enough to be taught to sit and listen to the sermon.
In addition, Lighthouse Kids’ Club (LKC) meets just about every Wednesday evening from 6:30PM - 8:00PM at church. LKC is our mid-week meeting for our children’s ministry here at Lighthouse Bible Church. We meet for a time of games and learning God’s Word. There are three divisions of LKC to meet the needs of every age group.

Welcome to Lumos! This is the name of our Youth Ministry (Grades 6-12) here at Lighthouse Bible Church. "Lumos" is Latin for light, which is based on Matthew 5:14-16. This ministry is committed in glorifying God and being a light to this dark world.
Our objective in the Lumos Ministry is to be first and foremost a place where the Gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed. We realize that during these years the students begin to fully grasp and understand what sin, accountability, God's holiness, and their responsibility toward God is. That is why we are committed to teach God's Word systematically and completely so that they would come to know the full counsel of God. We also want to have a place where they can be kept accountable especially during this stage of life when they are facing so many different challenges.
Sunday Mornings: We meet every Sunday morning for worship with learning God's Word and small groups for accountability. We meet during the Sunday School Hour from 11:00am - 12:15pm in Room 101.
FNBS: Friday Night Bible Study. The youth meet for fellowship and Bible study on Fridays at the church from 7:00pm - 9:30pm. This is a great way for our youth to develop their relationships with the Lord and one another.
If you have any questions regarding our ministry here at Lighthouse Bible Church, please contact Pastor JR Cuevas at jrcuevas@lighthousebc.com.
College Life is the college ministry of Lighthouse Bible Church. Our goal is to see our students passionate for God and His Word. We seek to help them in their spiritual growth to nurture a closer, more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. We also understand that our presence on campus provides us with unique opportunities to shine the light of Christ and serve as witnesses of the gospel. If you would like to find out more about College Life, please contact one of our staff members. We would love to meet you and we welcome you to our Friday night Bible studies. College Life is the primary source of accountability for our collegians. As such, we encourage all our students to get involved and be a part of College Life! For more information visit the College Life homepage.
Contact: Patrick ChoWe're the Singles' Ministry here at LBC. We could have created a fancy euphemism for ourselves and the life stage in which we all live, but we didn't. We exist to focus on the many singles at our church through teaching, fellowship, and accountability for the purpose of encouraging each other to bring honor to God's name in whatever He has given us to do. For more info visit the Single Life web site www.lighthousebc.com/singlelife.
Contact: John KimAs the name suggests, the Family Ministry group consists of families fellowshipping with one another. But as you can imagine, the phase in life of being a family covers a wide range of ages and sub-stages. It includes newlyweds, married without children, single parents, and married with children of all ages. With this wide range comes the many challenges of planning events and gatherings which include appropriate activities and childcare needs as well as supporting individual needs of counseling and building God honoring families.
Currently, Grace Life meets in a men's and women's discipleship bible study format. The men meet on Tuesday nights from 8-10pm and the women meet on Thursday evenings from 7:30-10pm. We are examining how the gospel affects all areas of our lives as men and women. If you are interested in participating, please contact Pastor Patrick (pastorpatrick@lighthousebc.com). If you want to get on the Family Ministry emailing list or are interested in serving on staff, contact Pastor Patrick.
