LBC San Jose will be officially opening up their doors to the community on January 28-30, 2011 as they formally install the leadership, the charter members, and announce to the San Jose community. They will be having events all weekend, starting Friday night, all day Saturday, the Sunday morning service and then a special Sunday evening service at 5pm.

The college ministry retreat, for both UCSD and SDSU, will be February 25-27 at Pine Valley. Dan Nah of Cornerstone Bible Church will be this year’s speaker. This is the highlight event of the year for College Life so don’t miss out. The total cost will be $120.00 with a $50.00 deposit due when signing up. Sign up in the foyer with Ryan Short. On Friday, January 21, at 7:00pm, here at church, both the UCSD and SDSU college life fellowships will be joining together to have an After-Christmas Party. There will be a $10.00 “white elephant” gift exchange. More information is coming, but please mark your calendars and plan to come out for a fun time of fellowship!

The Women’s Ministry will be having a car rally on Saturday, January 22, from 9:30am-2:00pm. Please bring some money with you for food and gas. This event is open to all ladies from college group and up. If you would like to come out and have some fun getting to know the other ladies at church please contact Christine Cho letting her know that you would like to come and whether or not you will be able to drive (christinescho@gmail.com).

On Saturday, February 19, from 9:00am-12:00pm, and on Sunday, February 20, from 1:00-4:00pm, we will be having a two part membership class. Please note that both classes are required. If you are interested in becoming a member please contact Pastor Patrick (pastorpatrick@gmail.com).

For all of those who are member’s of Lighthouse Bible Church, we will be having a member’s meeting on Sunday, January 23, at 4:45pm. We hope that you can make it and hear updates from the elders and ministry coordinators, as well as share in fellowship with one another. Dinner will be provided, we hope to see you there.
